Our Children Our Way is a beautiful gathering that brings together caregivers, service providers, and community members who are all working to support the wellness of Indigenous children and families across British Columbia. The conference creates space for learning, connection, and reflection — grounded in culture, community, and collective care. Learn more about Our Children Our Way

We want to extend our heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended our session: From the Heart of the People at the Our Children Our Way Conference. It was such an honour to connect, share space, and reflect together on the importance of caring for ourselves so that we can continue caring for others. We are deeply grateful to the Our Children Our Way organizers for creating such a meaningful gathering that continues to uplift and inspire those who support children, families, and communities across the province.

As a small token of appreciation, each participant received a lava bead bracelet kit during our session. These bracelets are more than just a creative activity — they’re a gentle reminder to pause, breathe, and ground yourself throughout the day.
